Folk Singer Charlie King in Concert

The folk music revival of the 1960s, the Civil Rights Movement and the Vietnam War era influence Charlie King’s music. His songs have been recorded and sung by other performers such as Pete Seeger, Holly Near, Ronnie Gilbert, John McCutcheon, Arlo Guthrie, Peggy Seeger, Chad Mitchell and Judy Small. He has won many awards and honors for his stance on social justice issues.
This concert supports the principles of the First Unitarian Church and is a concert to raise awareness and funding to enable this church to continue to support liberal causes.
